FADE IN:
A torch is laying on the ground. The camera passes it to see a boy, sitting upright against a wall. He has his eyes closed with blood streaming from his head. He takes in a sharp breath, waking up, lapsing in and out of consciousness. He pulls himself up using the wall and stands, patting his facial wound. He bends down and picks up his torch, turning it on and walking down the tunnel,
BOY:
Claudia!
The boy walks toward a large circular room, revealing multiple pathways. Each one looks dodgy, none of them look inviting. The boy looks down one of the tunnels and as he turns to look behind him, a large figure in a black cloak is protecting the doorway. The boy looks scared and runs down one of the hallways. He continues down the hallway with visible terror. He stops to take a breath,
BOY:
Claudia!
He turns the corner to find a girl, in period dress, staring at a wall, her face turned away from camera. The boy looks around and begins to walk slowly toward the girl, unmoving from her position.
BOY:
Claudia?
He begins to get closer and closer, only one foot apart. He puts her arm on her shoulder, someone putting a hand on the boy’s shoulder at the same time. The boy stops for a second and closes his eyes, trying to hold in his horror. He turns and a baseball bat swats the boy’s head, collapsing to the ground.
What follows is a montage:
We see the boy wake up again, in the same position. He makes the same movements again but the camera in a different angle. He continues to go to the hallway, get chased, find the girl, get hit in the head. We see hands dragging him and placing the boy in the same position. It continues to be repeated but at higher speed, the loudness of the repetition becoming unbearable.
What follows is no longer a montage:
The same shot of the hallways is taken but this time, a doorway shows light at the end. The boy walks toward it, the dark figure watching on as he walks to the light. The tunnel opens out to a large, open sunny day. The boy looks relaxed at the sight, a schoolboy on his phone beside the exit. The schoolboy looks up to see the boy with blood on his head,
SCHOOLBOY:
What the fuck?!
The schoolboy stumbles back,
BOY:
Please help me!
The schoolboy looks confused,
SCHOOLBOY:
What?
The boy looks back down the tunnel,
BOY:
I need to find her!
The boy runs back down the tunnel, leaving the schoolboy confused.
The schoolboy stands at the edge of the exit, the tunnel looking into darkness. The schoolboy walks into the tunnel, the dark figure standing tall over the exit, the characters not realising its there. The schoolboy walks down the tunnel, the darkness consuming him. The same shot starting the film is replicated but the schoolboy is now in the place of the first boy, thus it continues in perpetuity.
