What I did well:
- I kept the story simple, only including things that would further affect the story
- I communicated well with my actors to get the performance I wanted
- I set up my cameras with simple shots that were pleasing to the eye
What I didn't do well:
- Sound mixing to make dialogue consistent
- Having a few narrative beats between shots
- Filming consistently at night
What I learnt:
- Specific night settings on my camera
- How to set up a camera slider
- How to work with child actors
What I want to develop:
- Understanding my camera more
- Developing lighting setups
